Project Overview
IMS was instructed to carry out the full relocation of a 36-ton Mazak Integrex e670 CNC machine. The scope of the project included removing the machine from its existing location, loading and transporting it to a new site, and completing the installation into its final working position.
This type of machinery requires careful handling due to its size, weight and precision components. A structured approach was taken from the outset, with the correct lifting equipment and methods selected to ensure the move could be carried out safely and efficiently.
Scope of Work:
- Removal of the Mazak Integrex e670 from its original location
- Loading and transport to the client’s new premises
- Offloading and controlled movement into position
- Skating the machine into final location within the workshop
- Preparation for anchoring including core drilling
- Securing the machine using threaded rod and resin
- Full end-to-end installation as a turnkey service
